We got our hands on a pair of New Balance 1080v12 running shoes that have definitely seen some better days. The New Balance 1080v12 is a versatile running shoe that provides top-of-the-line performance for every kind of runner. New Balance improves on what was already a competent shoe, so the new 1080V12 is a cushioned yet versatile neutral trainer with nearly no flaws.

Step 1:
First you will need to prepare your shoes for a deep clean! Remove the laces from the shoes and set them aside as you will clean those at a later stage. Grab our Premium Brush and dry brush off any excess dirt that may be laying on the surface of the shoe.

Step 2:
Now is when it starts to get fun! Spray Sneaker Cleaner around the running shoe, making sure you focus on the most heavily dirtied areas. Our Sneaker Cleaner contains no chemicals or harmful toxins and uses probacteria to breakdown the dirt that is set deep in the fibers of the shoe. Next, get a container with water and dip the Premium Brush into the water. Start scrubbing the uppers of the shoe with the Premium Brush in a gentle circular motion so you don't fray the knit of the shoe. Continue this process until you have lifted and removed all of the dirt off of the shoe and wipe down with a Microfiber Towel.
Step 3:
Next, you will turn your attention to the midsole and soles of the shoe. You can follow the same method as above but don't be afraid to apply more pressure to remove any stubborn dirt that can found on the soles. Wipe off the excess moisture with a Microfiber Towel and set aside to dry.

Keep scrubbing and dipping into water and watch the dirt get removed from the laces. Lastly, ring out all the moisture of the laces and set aside to dry.

When the shoes and laces are dry, re-lace the shoes and prepare to add our protective products.

Use our Odor Protector to remove unwanted odors and to actively fight bad bacteria from building up inside of the shoe. If the innersole is removable, take it out and spray that as well.

Throw your running shoes on and hit the trail, track, or road and wear them confidently knowing that Sneaker LAB has your back!
